This is a cast bronze memorial plaque with an integral
color tile and service badge. It is mounted on a custom
walnut plaque. The overall dimensions of the bronze
plaque is 16" by 19". The walnut plaque
is 2" larger all around. Since the weight of
the finished plaque is around 100 pounds, a custom gravity
cleat was affixed to the back of the plaque.
Our artist created the image for the color
tile from a old stapled through personnel photograph
of
the individual (see bottom of this page). The
service badge was provided by the agency and we welded
it
to the
finished
plaque.

If you are installing this plaque in a cemetery,
check with the cemetery association if they will
allow you to install a memorial plaque that you purchase
elsewhere. A cemetery may charge a 'setting'
fee or other fees for installing memorial plaques that have
not been purchased through them.
Every cemetery is different and each has their own sets of
rules and regulations. It is your responsibility, NOT OUR,
to confirm their acceptance of any plaque purchased from
our company. That
said, we have not as yet been advised by any purchaser that
a cemetery would not allow them to install a memorial plaque
purchased from us.
