Our Informative Tour Materials

Our information tour is provided in logical sections and starts here.  If you want to jump to certain a specific section of the tour, use the links below.

Real bronze is created by melting down PURE ingots of copper, tin and lead in an 88/10/2 ratio.  Bronze is FOREVER.

Bronze is also costly.  In order to reduce prices, some providers sell plaques and signs made of faux bronze and do not openly state what their materials are.  They are a mixture of available metals (including iron that rusts) made to simulate bronze or metal covered plastic.  While these faux bronze products may be usable for your purpose, they can not outlive real bronze.

Selecting A Plaque Provider About Our Company

After reading the information on this site, you should have a good idea of the design features of a cast plaque.

IT IS NOT A COMMODITY THAT SHOULD BE PURCHASED FOR THE LOWEST PRICE!

Proper design requires the efforts of one or more experienced designers - not unlike a building that requires the talents of an experienced architect - try asking an architect to give you a free drawing of a house design - not likely.

Talented designers will not give away their efforts for free - it is a matter of common sense.  If you are getting free design efforts and free proofs without placing an order, something has to give - it is only common sense.  Either low paid designers are knocking out the designs or the 'free' design proofs are being paid for by you, the customer, in hidden costs.

You need to evaluate this and many other factors in reaching your decision in finding your plaque designer.

We have the designers with the experience to lay out a cast plaque that will look good and stand the test of time. Anyone can lay out words using a word processor and define different font styles and sizes that look good on paper. It takes one of our specialists to produce a layout that will take into account the process of casting molten metal into a finished plaque.

We differentiate our service from other who sell bronze products by the involvement of our highly qualified graphics designers in the casting process. Our demonstrated capabilities and knowledge of the casting process is unique. What this means for our customer is that when working with our designers, you are speaking to someone who understands bronze casting and not just a middle man who will pass your request to a foundry design department. Proper formatting, line widths, stroke and details that must be resolved prior to casting can be resolved with our designer. This assures you that you will get a quality product in the shortest time possible.
